Resistance screening for crown rot in wheat

The methodologies to work with soil borne pathogens will be explore by student. The following work will be conducted during the MSc; 1) Phenotyping for soil borne disease/s in wheat under controlled condtions 2) Phenotyping for for soil borne disease/s in wheat field condtions 3) Isolation of fungi from wheat tissue 3) Inoculum preparation 4) Mass culture production (12 months for courses and 12 months for research activities)
